What am I supposed to say to him?

So, I already have a boyfriend and I really love him. But I have a friend, that I've known literally my entire life, that admitted months ago that he had feelings for me. specifically he admitted it to me on valentines day through text message. I was froze and freaked out. Since then he kept writing "my beloved friend" or kept asking how it's going with my boyfriend and me and asked me twice (one last month and one some days ago) if i like him the way he is. i dont want to break his heart but i dont feel anything more than friendship and ive told him that many times. so i told him maybe we should stop talking and he said no and taht hed stop. now he keeps sending awkward love text messages to me. he cant talk to me in person since he lives quite far away. how do i make him stop? my boyfriend want to beat him up for being so pushy and he doesnt like all of this at all.
